For our Outlet Store in Amsterdam, we are looking for a
Junior Shop Manager
As a Junior Shop Manager, you are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and motivated to develop yourself within a dynamic retail environment. You are responsible for leading and motivating the team and contribute to an energetic and pleasant working atmosphere on the shop floor. With your commercial insight, customer-focused mindset, and passion for sales, you see every customer as a new challenge and an opportunity to grow.
What will you do?
· Lead and manage the sales team;
· Help optimize the presentation of the collection in the store;
· Ensure a strong and well-maintained presentation of the Protest brand;
· Actively contribute to achieving and exceeding commercial targets;
· Support cash register management;
· Ensure clear and accurate communication with head office;
· (Co-)responsible for opening and closing the store;
· Monitor compliance with safety procedures and measures;
· Actively sell clothing and advise customers;
· Carry out various administrative tasks.
What do we ask?
· A completed relevant MBO-level education;
· Preferably 1–2 years of work experience in retail (fashion or sports industry is a plus);
· Affinity with sales and commercial objectives;
· Strong communication and social skills;
· Good command of both Dutch and English;
· Customer- and service-oriented mindset;
· Enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility;
· Flexible attitude and no nine-to-five mentality;
· Affinity with board sports.

· A fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
