Malelions - Assistant Store Manager

Malelions is looking for an Assistant Store Manager who can help grow the store and inspire the team to perform at their best. You will be jointly responsible for the daily operations of the store, including customer experience, staff management, administrative tasks, and achieving commercial targets.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensuring an excellent customer experience and handling questions, returns, and complaints;
• Advising customers and presenting the collection in line with the brand experience;
• Proactively suggesting improvements and creating/executing store action plans with commercial objectives;
• Analyzing sales results and managing turnover, cost control, and targets;
• Identifying market trends and customer needs;
• Managing inventory, cash administration, and daily reports;
• Leading employees, including scheduling, operational tasks, and staff development;
• Responsible for onboarding and offboarding, creating schedules, and carrying out HR-related tasks;
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and hygiene standards.

Why you’re a great fit:

• You have a relevant educational background and/or work experience in retail or commerce;
• You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• You are available at least five days a week (based on a 38-hour workweek);
• You are customer-focused, results-driven, and proactive.
