As a Nike Store Athlete (Sales Associate), your mission is to provide a high-quality consumer experience by demonstrating the expertise to review individual needs and deliver a complete solution through Nike products and services and give the consumer what he/she needs to connect, train and compete with the knowledge to achieve his/her goals.

Responsibilities

• Use customer service skills, basic sales techniques and product knowledge to direct the customer to the right product and drive sales

• Build a connection between the consumer and the brand by providing excellent service and tailoring the brand stories to the retail environment

• Maintain knowledge of various store departments and be available to use the register for regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving tasks, replenish store inventory, clean and set up visual displays as needed

• Be a source of product knowledge for consumers and entry level employees. Seek training opportunities to develop advanced or specialized knowledge of sales, Nike products and culture, and sales and service techniques

• Help the leads, senior employees, and managers train entry-level employees

• Assist loss prevention by providing proactive customer service.

• Preferably one or more years of experience in customer service and/or retail

• Demonstrated passion for the Nike brand

• Can perform basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

• Can speak and write English (or any other relevant language) well

• Can take on multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment

• Can work fruitfully with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service
