For the opening of our new store at AMSTERDAM THE STYLE OUTLETS, we are looking for an STORE MANAGER.
POSITION The purpose of this position is to manage the store in order to reach the business targets assigned for revenue, sales, and management of the team.
ROLE WITHIN THE ORGANISATION The Store Manager will report to the RETAIL DISTRICT MANAGER.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proven quality sales skills (KPI).
- Ensures excellence in sales, customer service, and loyalty.
- Receive periodic sales targets, implementing strategies that ensure their achievement.
- Ensure a flawless image of the store, supported by instructions of the visual merchandiser.
- Share sales results and product needs with HQ, reporting weekly product feedback.
- Monitor the performance of each sales assistant through the KPI dashboard, evaluating their contribution to the total turnover and suggesting personal development programs.
- Ensures that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Organize briefings to encourage, motivate, and engage your team.
- Maintain an organizational vision with a problem-solving approach.
- Observe and apply business procedures, ensuring that all directives are respected.
- Manage work shift planning while ensuring adequate coverage.
- Monitor and optimize store costs.
- Manage administrative procedures.
- Actively participate in the warehouse organization of the store and inventory.
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION COVERAGE
- Computer skills (Office package / cash management systems and attendance).
- Fluent English and Dutch (required); Italian is a plus.
- Experience gained in the same role in structured retail companies.
- Preferable coming from a similar environment.
- Commercial knowledge.
- People-oriented.
- Willingness to do training in Italy.
